1. 1. Who we are

   Ribbons -n- Bows is a gift-wrapping and personalized gift concierge service owned and operated by Nicole Sullivan in Sterling / Potomac Falls, Virginia. In this policy "we", "us" and "Ribbons -n- Bows" mean that business. Questions about privacy, or about anything below, can go to info@ribbonsnbows.gifts or 573-RIBBONS (573-742-2667).

2. 2. What we collect

   Only what is needed to wrap and return your gifts: your name, email address, phone number and preferred way of being contacted; the address we collect from or deliver to; what you tell us about the gifts, the occasion and the recipient; any photos you attach to an order or a question; and the history of your order, including what you have paid. We do not take card numbers or bank details on this website; payment is arranged directly with you.

3. 3. Text messages (SMS)

   If you give us your mobile number and agree to be texted, we use it to run your order: confirming details, asking a question about a gift, arranging pickup or delivery, and telling you when your gifts are ready. Message frequency varies with your order. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to be texted is not a condition of any purchase. Reply STOP at any time to stop messages, or HELP for help. We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Your mobile number and your consent are stored only in our own systems and with the messaging provider that delivers the message on our behalf.

4. 4. How we use what we collect

   To price, confirm, wrap and return your order; to answer your questions; to send the emails and texts that belong to your order, such as a quote to approve, an invoice, a receipt or a request for a review; and to keep our own business records. We do not run advertising on this site, and we do not build profiles of visitors.

5. 5. Who else sees it

   Only the services that make the site work, and only for that purpose: Cloudflare hosts the site and stores orders and photos; Amazon Web Services sends our email; a messaging provider delivers our text messages; a notification service alerts Nicole Sullivan to new orders. Each is bound by its own agreement to handle the data only on our instructions. We may also disclose information if the law requires it. We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

6. 6. Reviews you leave

   A review you send us is shown on this website only if Nicole Sullivan publishes it, and only with the name you chose to give - leave the name empty and no name is shown. Ask us and we will take a published review down.

7. 7. Cookies and tracking

   This site sets no advertising cookies and does not track you across other websites. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read: it uses no cookies, does not fingerprint your device, and reports only totals - page addresses, rough location by country, and the kind of browser or device - never anything that identifies you. The bot check on our forms is provided by Cloudflare Turnstile, which exists to keep spam out rather than to identify you.

8. 8. How long we keep it

   Order records and their photos are kept while we need them for our business and tax records. Ask us to delete your information and we will, unless we are required to keep it - we will say so if that is the case.

9. 9. Your choices

   You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, stop texts by replying STOP, and stop order emails by telling us you would rather be phoned. Write to info@ribbonsnbows.gifts and we will answer within a few days.

10. 10. Children's privacy

    This is a service for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13, and we delete it if we learn we have.

11. 11. Changes to this policy

    If this policy changes we will post the new version here and update the date at the top. Material changes to how we use your information will be explained rather than quietly replaced.
